As 2024 comes to a close, we’re reflecting on a year filled with powerful ministry moments and remarkable strides toward completing the Great Commission. The Finishing the Task (FTT) movement has witnessed God’s hand at work as churches, ministries, and believers worldwide are stepping up, working together, and doing their part to help fulfill the Great Commission!
We’re excited to share the 2024 End-of-Year Report, highlighting key milestones and strategic initiatives that are bringing us closer to our shared goal of making disciples of all nations by 2033.

Highlights from 2024
This year has been extraordinary for the FTT movement, marked by gatherings, training sessions, and collaborations that have united and mobilized the global Church. Here are just a few of the key moments you’ll read about in the report:

What Will It Take to Finish the Task?
The task isn’t finished yet, but these updates show that the Church is moving forward with new momentum and unity. Finishing the work and fulfilling the Great Commission by 2033 will require the following, outlined in detail in the report:
· A Passionate Commitment to Christ’s Great Commission: Five times in Scripture Jesus clearly commanded us to take the Good News to everyone on earth. It’s not “the Great Suggestion” – he expects us to obey him. We have a clear commission
· All the Church Working Together to Reach All People in All Places: God doesn’t want uniformity but he does want unity in the Body of Christ as a witness to the world. We will never have unity in every doctrine or worship style. But we can have unity in our mission.
· Shared Global Goals:
- Bibles: Ensure every person has access to God’s Word in their heart language.
- Believers: Train believers to share their testimonies, aiming for every individual to hear the Gospel by 2033.
- Bodies of Christ: Establish local churches, including house churches, so everyone can connect with a local church.
- Breakthrough Prayer: Mobilize Christians to pray for non-believers, striving for every person to be prayed for by name.
· Utilizing the Strategy Christ Modeled: P.E.A.C.E.
- Proclaim the Gospel
- Equip Believers
- Alleviate Suffering
- Contend in Prayer
- Establish Churches
· Great Commission Allies: A Network of Movements: None of us can fulfill the Great Commission by ourselves. We need each other!
