Job Title: Director of Training and Events
Description:
We are seeking a Director of Training and Events to oversee the planning and implementation of training programs and events to support the goals of the FTT movement. The ideal candidate will have a passion for equipping Christian leaders to mobilize their communities and networks, and will have experience in managing and delivering training programs and events.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify training needs:
- Conduct research and analysis to identify training needs within the FTT movement
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop training objectives and goals
- Develop training programs and materials to meet the identified needs
2. Plan and manage events:
- Plan and execute various levels of events, including conferences, workshops, and seminars
- Develop and manage online training platforms, such as webinars and e-learning courses
- Support and guide partners in planning their own training events
3. Coordinate and publish training calendar:
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create a comprehensive training calendar
- Manage the publication and promotion of the training calendar to ensure maximum participation
4. Train and equip Christian leaders:
- Deliver training programs to equip Christian leaders to mobilize their communities and networks
- Develop training materials and resources to support the training programs
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to Christian leaders to ensure successful implementation of the training
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Education, Training, or Business
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and event management
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Passion for equipping Christian leaders to mobilize their communities and networks
• Familiarity with digital training platforms and tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
