Job Description: Director of Funding
We are seeking a Director of Funding to join our organization and lead our efforts to develop and implement financial strategies to support our mission. The ideal candidate will be passionate about FTT and have a proven track record of success in fundraising, grant writing, and donor management.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the mission of the organization, including annual fundraising goals and long-term financial planning.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing donors, while identifying and recruiting new donors to support our mission.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive donor stewardship program to ensure that donors feel valued and appreciated for their support.
• Provide training and support to partners and affiliates who need to raise funds for our organization, including writing effective grant proposals and conducting successful fundraising campaigns.
• Oversee all grant writing efforts and ensure that grant applications are submitted on time and meet all requirements.
• Enlist the support of stewardship and development agencies and consultants to assist in fostering a growing culture of generosity and sacrificial giving by Christians for the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
• Develop and manage budgets for fundraising campaigns, events, and other initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze fundraising data to ensure that fundraising goals are being met and adjust strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all donor interactions and donations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• At least five years of experience in fundraising, donor management, or related field.
• Strong understanding of nonprofit fundraising strategies and techniques.
• Proven track record of success in donor cultivation and fundraising.
• Experience in grant writing and managing grant applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for the mission of our organization and commitment to the Christian faith.
• Ability to travel as needed to meet with donors and attend fundraising events.
