Job Title: Director of Content

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Director of Content to manage the creation and distribution of print, audio, video, and online content for churches and other partners. The ideal candidate will recruit and coordinate writers, storytellers, and producers to create new evangelistic and discipleship tools for every Christian to use. They will also enlist content producers to provide tool, resources, training, and support for individual Christians, small groups, church plants, and established churches to fulfill the Great Commission in their own contexts. The Director of Content will produce tools for relational skills for building friendships with people unlike themselves, and create tools that are neurologically and psychologically sound. They will also engage in ongoing theological reflection and exploration to deepen understanding and support for the Great Commission, create event templates for denominations to plan their own events in the next decade, and use the church liturgical calendar to create unity and synergy in cooperative events.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit and coordinate writers, storytellers, and producers to create print, audio, video, and online content for churches and other partners to use.

• Create new evangelistic and discipleship tools for every Christian to use.

• Enlist content producers – authors, publishers, media, and practitioners – who agree to create or provide tool, resources, training, and support for individual Christians, small groups, church plants, and established churches to fulfill the Great Commission in their own contexts.

Produce relational skills for building friendships with people unlike themselves, including how to be winsome and likable, how to make an authentic emotional connection, how to truly listen to people, understanding body language, principles of hospitality, dealing with today’s shorter attention span.

• Create tools that are neurologically and psychologically sound, taking into account how people hear, learn, and decide.

• Create a Style Guide for all new content, evangelistic tools, campaigns, courses, curriculum, training, backs of bulletins, brochure, and books to share their faith in winsome and effective ways.

• Create event templates for denominations to plan their own events in the next decade, using the church liturgical calendar to create unity and synergy in cooperative events.

• Create undated training materials and evangelistic materials for churches and others to use.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing content creation for print, audio, video, and online media.

• Experience in evangelism and discipleship training.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong leadership skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.

• Understanding of the church liturgical calendar and denominational structures.

• Strong theological background and understanding of the Great Commission.
