As we step into 2026, we’re inviting the global Church to join a yearlong movement of united prayer. The Finishing the Task Breakthrough Prayer coalition just launched a brand-new 365-Day Breakthrough Prayer Guide, created in partnership with the YouVersion Bible App, to help believers everywhere pray by name for the men and women serving on the frontlines of the Great Commission.

Across the 110 most unreached gateway cities—strategic urban centers representing billions of people—faithful workers are sharing the gospel, planting churches, translating Scripture, discipling new believers, and caring for the poor, the vulnerable, and the overlooked. This guide gives you the opportunity to lift them up daily, one city and one worker at a time.

These intercessors represent a wide range of callings:

• Church planters launching new bodies of Christ in spiritually dry places
• Bible translators bringing God’s Word to heart languages still waiting

Each day’s prayer prompt highlights one specific worker or team, helping us stand together in prayer as they declare Jesus’ name among Buddhists, Muslims, Hindus, Jews, and other unreached communities around the world.

This prayer initiative is hosted through the YouVersion Bible App, which recently surpassed 1 billion installs and now reaches believers in all major languages. By leveraging this global platform, we have the opportunity to mobilize unprecedented prayer for the nations.
