Healthy Leaders Refreshed to Finish the Task: The Healthy Leaders Conference
As believers around the world unite around the vision of seeing the gospel reach every person and every place by 2033, it is tempting to focus primarily on strategies, programs, and outreach initiatives. Yet history reminds us that sustainable ministry flows from healthy leaders. Healthy leaders cultivate healthy churches. Healthy churches disciple believers, care for their communities, and mobilize people to fulfill the Great Commission.
That conviction is at the heart of the Healthy Leaders Conference, a gathering designed to equip, encourage, and strengthen pastors and ministry leaders for long-term faithfulness and effectiveness in ministry.
Why Healthy Leaders Matter
At Finishing the Task, we often talk about the importance of every believer sharing the gospel, every community having a local expression of the body of Christ, and every person having an opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus.
But healthy churches do not happen by accident.
Churches are shaped by leaders who are emotionally, spiritually, relationally, and missionally healthy. When pastors are overwhelmed, isolated, or exhausted, churches often struggle to sustain disciple-making and outreach. Conversely, when leaders are growing and thriving in their walk with God, they can lead from a place of health. When that happens, we see churches better positioned to mobilize their members for evangelism, discipleship, prayer, and mission.
That connection between leader health and mission effectiveness is one of the driving forces behind Finishing the Task’s Healthy Pastor Initiative, led by Pastor Jamin Goggin. Through coaching, resources, gatherings, and practical support, the initiative seeks to help pastors lead from a place of spiritual and personal wholeness so they can faithfully shepherd God’s people for the long haul.
About the Conference
The Healthy Leaders Conference is a two-day event created specifically for pastors and ministry leaders seeking encouragement, practical tools, and renewed vision for ministry. Participants will hear from experienced ministry leaders, engage in meaningful conversations with peers, and gain insights that can strengthen both their personal lives and their leadership. You can expect valuable insights from leaders who have explored what it looks like to lead churches from a place of spiritual health, including Kay Warren, Kyle Strobel, and Ann Voskamp.
Whether you serve in a large church, a church plant, a rural congregation, or a ministry organization, this conference is designed to help you cultivate rhythms and practices that lead to greater health and effectiveness.

A Strategic Investment in Your Ministry Longevity
The vision of Finishing the Task is not simply to complete projects or reach milestones. It is to see the global Church fully mobilized to make disciples of all nations.
That work requires healthy pastors, healthy ministry leaders, and healthy churches.
As we pursue the goal of ensuring that every person has an opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel, we must also invest in the leaders who are shepherding God’s people along the way.
If you are a pastor or ministry leader, we invite you to consider joining us at the Healthy Leaders Conference. Your church, your family, your ministry team, and the people you serve will benefit from the investment.
Because healthy leaders help build healthy churches, and healthy churches are essential to finishing the task.
