Global2033: Mobilizing Catholic Believers to Fulfill the Great Commission
As we approach the 2000th anniversary of Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection in 2033, Global2033, one of the Finishing the Task Great Commission Allies, is leading a worldwide movement to unite Catholic believers in fulfilling the Great Commission. This initiative aims to evangelize and bring the Gospel to every corner of the globe, emphasizing prayer, collaboration, and missionary discipleship.
Global2033 has launched a ten-year campaign (2023–2033) to prepare for this significant milestone. The movement focuses on equipping and mobilizing leaders, fostering unity among Christian communities, and promoting evangelization strategies tailored to diverse cultural contexts. By collaborating with over 1,000 organizations and training thousands of leaders worldwide, Global2033 seeks to create a ripple effect of missionary activity leading up to 2033.
Joining in Prayer for the College of Cardinals
In addition to evangelization efforts, Global2033 encourages the faithful to pray for the College of Cardinals, especially during pivotal moments such as the election of a new pope. By interceding for these spiritual leaders, believers contribute to the guidance and unity of the Catholic Church as it navigates the challenges of the modern world.
