Amazing developments are happening throughout the globe as the world comes together in prayer for the lost and for the fulfillment of the Great Commission in the FTT Breakthrough Prayer Coalition. Here are some exciting updates from Breakthrough Prayer Coalition leader Dr. Jason Hubbard on the work happening around the world:

  • In January, Breakthrough Prayer Coalition leader Dr. Jason Hubbard, along with Onassis Jeevaraj, traveled to India and Nepal. In India, they connected with top leaders from the largest house church network in North India, which has 15 million Jesus followers. These leaders will join us for the four FTT Global Days of Prayer and will be praying for everyone in the world by name. In Nepal, we established the International Prayer Connect/Finishing the Task Nepal Prayer Council with over 100 leaders and pastors.

  • International Prayer Connect/Finishing the Task hosted 72 hours of online prayer for the Buddhist Global Day of Prayer. Over 100 million people participated in prayer on this day through house churches worldwide (not including online participants).

  • We are actively collaborating with leaders along the Ganges River (home to 875 million people) to establish 24/7 worship-based houses of prayer. These prayer initiatives aim to contend for breakthrough in reaching unreached Hindus and Buddhists in the region with the gospel.

  • Dr. Jason Hubbard, Dennis Fuqua, and Eric Watt (from RUN) traveled to Thailand to host the IPC/FTT East Asia Prayer Council. During their 1.5 days of worship and prayer, they gathered nine national prayer leaders from Japan, Thailand, Korea, North Korea, Mongolia, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, and Myanmar.

  • Our Thailand prayer team is leading prayer efforts for the E21 Everyone Thailand initiative, scheduled for 2025-2026.

  • Two new 24/7 worship-based prayer towers launched out of the Thailand gathering, further expanding our prayer efforts.

  • We collaborated with the leadership team of Collegiate Day of Prayer to mobilize the first-ever global Collegiate Day of Prayer. Several IPC leaders contributed, leading powerful prayer moments. Pastor Rick’s message was deeply impactful, and we are believing for a genuine revival to sweep across this generation!

  • Under the leadership of the Breakthrough Prayer Coalition’s Brian Alarid, the Gather25 event called people to pray for others by name. Over the course of 25 hours of the event, 61,000 people were prayed for by name.

  • In early March, Dr. Jason Hubbard spoke at the largest Korean church in North America, Grace Church Fullerton, in Los Angeles. In response to his message, the church committed to launching 24/7 prayer.

  • The IPC/FTT Africa team hosted 24 hours of online prayer to address crisis situations such as the ongoing conflict in Congo, natural disasters, and persecution in Nigeria and Somalia.

We are incredibly encouraged by all that is happening and continue to pray for breakthroughs around the world. Thank you for your ongoing support and participation in this global movement of prayer! We hope you will join the FTT Breakthrough Prayer Coalition around the world this month as we pray for Jesus to be made known in the Muslim world on March 27th. Learn more and sign up here.
