From Training to Multiplication: Equipping Pastors to Lead Strategic Change

Church leaders from 14 churches gathered in Salisbury, Maryland, on June 24 for a half-day seminar focused on one of the greatest challenges pastors face: leading change faithfully and effectively.

Hosted by pastor Brian Moss, the Leading Strategic Change seminar brought together 32 pastors and ministry leaders for practical training on navigating change within the local church. Drawing on decades of teaching and leadership principles developed by Pastor Rick Warren, the seminar explored biblical strategies for guiding churches through seasons of transition.

Throughout the morning, participants reflected on practical lessons for leading organizational change—from navigating leadership transitions and governance changes to shepherding congregations through new ministry opportunities with wisdom, clarity, and unity.

The gathering is one example of how healthy church leadership can multiply beyond a single congregation. As pastors invest in one another, they strengthen churches to more effectively fulfill the Great Commission.
