A Fire Ignited in Southern California: Hispanic Leaders Embrace the Vision of Finishing the Task

This month, a powerful spark was lit in Southern California as 22 influential leaders from the Hispanic Church gathered to engage with the vision of Finishing the Task. Led by FTT Latin America Regional Leader Hector Tamez, the gathering focused on what it truly means to take the gospel where it has never been and how the Spanish-speaking churches in Southern California can play their roll in the 2033 goals: Bibles, Believers, Bodies of Christ, Breakthrough Prayer, and Bridges of Love.

“These men and women are here to learn about what Finishing the Task is all about,” said Hector. “Something was just ignited, and we’re excited about it.”

Pastor Rick Warren spoke passionately to the leaders, sharing personal insight, casting vision, and fueling a fresh burden for the unreached.

“Pastor Rick did an incredible job. These pastors are ready to begin,” Hector shared.

This moment is just one turning point in a broader movement of God’s Spirit we’re seeing as the desire to reach the unreached spreads from Baja to Central America and the Caribbean. Hector says, “This is just one fire – things are beginning to happen everywhere!”

Please join us in prayer as the FTT vision continues to inspire leaders across Latin America and around the globe to rise up and help complete the Great Commission by 2033!
